Big surprises, celebration at Caddigan library room naming ceremony

Members of the community met at the Montclair Community Library over the weekend to celebrate the dedication of a reading room to Potomac Supervisor Maureen Caddigan.

According to a release, the room was named the ‘Maureen S. Caddigan Reading Room’ following a unanimous vote from the Prince William Public Library’s Board of Trustees.

“I am very, very touched and I’m touched with what I’ve heard up here today…I’ve lived in this community a long time…and I was here, you know, when the site for this library was proffered, over 30 years ago…never, never in a million years did I ever dream that you would be honoring me in such a special way,” said Caddigan.
